  • About:

I have 14 collective years of Maya, Photoshop, and Zbrush. I started out originally as a Retouch Artist for a very well known Photograhic Lab here in the UK using Photoshop, then moved onto 3d in the late 90s. I landed my first job role in 3d for The Sun's Striker Cartoon strip then moved up to 'Production Manager' to oversee Britains first 3d comic. The aforementioned jobs allowed me to hone my skills as a digital artist, as well as get me up to speed with tight deadlines.

Moving on from Striker I then went on to create The Premier, another 3d Cartoon Strip and again it was for the Sun newspaper, I was the Senior guy there and was responsible for the majority of Storyboards, alot of the newer character models and rigs along with props, and environment modelling. Working with a team of 3 other great artists we were all responsible for the overall creation of the 3d comic strip .

After The Premier I have since worked on 3 tv programmes. Two for Discovery Channel (TBA 2008) and also ITV's satire show called Headcases, a series about showbiz and the world of politicians produced entirely in CG. I worked as 1 of 4 character modellers over a period of 5 months. I created 30 out of 64 of the main characters for the show, some of which are in my gallery.

In my own time I have begun creating an online graphic novel called Outlaws Tales... www.outlaws-tales.com  a sci fi western that I hope to get published at some point but would love to see made into a movie.

Also I am involved in the creation of Maya software training dvds for www.simplymaya.com

I am currently available for either freelance or permanent work.
